I honestly feel like I’ve been pregnant forever. In some ways, I have. I was pregnant last spring and then had a miscarriage, and then was pregnant again by mid-summer, and now we’re back in the springtime. It’s crazy how much life can change and how much time has gone by — and how in a few weeks, my body will once again just be my own. Well, besides the whole breastfeeding thing, but I won’t be trying to or growing a human for the first time in a year. It will also mark the end of my pregnancy outfit inspiration. I’ve almost been able to share maternity outfits for all four seasons between my three pregnancies. I shared a lot of summer pregnancy outfits when I was expecting Charlotte. I shared winter maternity outfits this time around, and now I’m getting to sneak in some spring maternity outfits as well.
It’s been a pretty cold February and start to March, but I’ve gotten a few nice days here and there where I can sneak in some spring maternity outfits to shoot for you. I will say that in general, in NY, there are like four nice spring days that feel like spring weather before summer hits, so I mostly find myself still wearing pants and sweaters or tights and dresses under layers in the spring. But I am always looking for pregnancy outfit inspo and frankly, there’s not a lot of it out there, so I wanted to share as many spring maternity outfits as I could while I still have a bump. And frankly, as I enter my ninth month of pregnancy (OMG), I have to say that all I want is to throw on a roomy dress right now. The idea of putting on jeans or even leggings at this point is not fun. I mean I do it, because some days it’s just too cold not to and I’m mostly working from home until the baby arrives, so wearing a pretty dress every day doesn’t totally make sense, but at this point, I am carrying around a huge basketball on my abdomen and anything, even with an elastic waist, feels constricting on my belly. Here are my favorite spring maternity outfits as I count down the final weeks of this pregnancy.
