When it’s actually spring and not like spring for a day and then winter again, I’ll be thrilled and definitely more excited to get dressed. But we had five glorious days of spring weather this week, and I lived it up both in life and the wardrobe department, And now, I’m ready for a vacation. Work has been crazy and there’s been so much else going on, I need a break, which feels weird to say when the weather is starting to feel like a vacation. It’s times like this when I get lazy about getting dressed, but it’s been hard to because it’s so nice out, it basically begs you to wear something cute and then if you don’t, you feel bad because everyone else i wearing their cutest new spring clothes. So I tried, kinda, but as you’ll see from my roundup of what I wore the first week of May 2018, I ended up falling back on a whole lot of black. There’s always next week, right?
Black and white are just easy and always look chic and go with everything, ya know? I did wear a pink dress, which is sort of totally out of character for me, and it had ruffles so felt extra sweet, but it was sweatshirt material so felt like a nice compromise. Now, it’s the weekend and I’m going to be researching vacations because mama needs one… desperately (in case you couldn’t tell). Here’s what I wore the first week of May 2018.
