By now you guys know I love me a big cozy sweater, and they’re basically what I live in during the winter months. They’re warm but easier and dressier than jeans. They’re cozy and comfy. What’s not to love? Which is why this sweater dress has become one of my favorite pieces. It’s perfect for the office or a holiday party, but I’ve also thrown it over jeans and boots for running around. It works great with a bump and leggings too. I love winter whites and I think the hue adds an extra layer of chic, and it’s incredible versatile. The best part? It’s under $100 but looks like it costs a whole lot more. Hence, this sweater dress outfit with boots has become my go-to look.
In fact, when it comes to winter outfit formulas, the sweater dress outfit with boots is really my favorite. I like pairing the sweater dress with tall boots for an added layer of warmth and to dress up the look. You can wear tights under or go without and you have some leg coverage. Even flat tall boots have a fancier vibes than your typical flats, and the combo looks chic and put-together. For the office, I’ll go with heeled knee boots but if I’m going to be doing a lot of walking or headed out on the weekend, I’ll do a flat over-the-knee boot. Then just throw on a fabulous jacket (I love a classic style in a neutral hue) and you’re good to go.
