There’s nothing I love more than a striped shirt — except a striped shirt with ruffles. That’s why this Veronica Beard ruffle shirt is the perfect combo of my two favorite things, and is on repeat in my outfit rotation. I probably wear it once a week tbh. I love how the ruffles dress it up and add a feminine touch, while the stripes keep it from being too girly. It works just as easily dressed up with a skirt, dressed down with jeans, or paired with my newest obsessions, these cropped wide leg pants, for Fridays at the office. So for the latest installment in this series, here’s how to style a ruffle shirt three different ways.
Outfit 1: Working Lunch

The first idea for how to style a ruffle shirt is with wide leg green pants, which are trending right now. To make it work for the office, I added a block heel slingback. Tuck in the shirt to make it a bit more polished.
Outfit 2: Busy Day at the Office Followed by Dinner Plans

When I’m going straight to the office to an event or dinner, I’ll try to wear an outfit that can work day to night. I work in a more casual fashion-forward office, working in women’s magazines, so a mini skirt works. This one isn’t too short, so I feel fine wearing it at the office. I love how it looks with the blouse tucked in and some booties. When figuring out how to how to style a ruffle shirt, I say look to skirts, mini or maxi and just tuck it in.
Outfit 3: Weekend Activities With the Fam

Finally, how to style a ruffle shirt for a day with the fam or the weekend. A cute pair of jeans and flats is the perfect pairing with this blouse. I could have tucked it in, but I also like it untucked with a sweater over your shoulders.
