I can’t believe I’m already talking about back to school shopping, and yet, it’s here. James doesn’t start preschool until after Labor Day, which I’m grateful for, partly because we’ll hopefully be welcoming the new baby before then and partially because I’m not ready to admit summer is over.
James will start a threes program this year in the new town where we’re moving. It will be his first experience with drop-off (I wrote about the preschool we sent him to last year here), and I’m nervous to say the least. It’ll coincide with a lot of other changes, and we’re going to be reverse commuting him until our new home is ready, so it’s going to be a big adjustment for everyone, but I’m also excited to see him thrive.
As much as I’m not ready for summer to be over (and my baby to be three!), I am excited about back to school shopping for James. Back to school shopping was always one of my favorite ways to start prepping for the transition back to school, and since we don’t really get that as adults, I can’t wait to do it for James. I had so much fun shopping for fall school clothes for James last year, and I can’t wait to do it again.
Here’s what I’m buying James for back to school this fall.
