I felt it was time to freshen up my work wardrobe for spring, and this skirt was the perfect addition. I have never met an animal print I didn’t love, but I mostly lean into leopard, my go-to neutral really. But I am loving the zebra print trend for spring. Leopard print feels much more fall-y and I love how the pattern looks contrasted with a pretty pastel hue. It adds a little edge to my springtime look.
This skirt is the perfect item for the office that I also plan to wear to baby showers and wedding showers and even an engagement party. For casual Fridays, I might dress it down with sneakers and a cute tee, but for days I want to look more put-together, I’m loving it with these kitten heels and a cashmere knit. When it gets warmer, I’ll swap the sweater for a silk blouse or crisp button-up and sandals.
I rounded up some more of my favorite spring work pieces at the end of this post. Normally I feel like florals dominate spring and sometimes I feel like they’re too frilly for the office, but this season, there are so many great workwear pieces that still feel fresh for the season that it’s actually making me excited to dress for work.
