Hopefully, you’re set on the gift/card front (but if not, check out my Father’s Day gift recs here), and all you have to worry about is figuring out what to wear to Father’s Day this year. Since the world is starting to open up again, I think we’re going to plan to do something special, either go out to eat at one of Andrew’s favorite restaurants or take place in the Father’s Day activities at our club. Either way, I’m excited for warm weather and hopefully, cute family photo opps, which of course means I’m already thinking about what to wear to Father’s Day.
I always struggle with what to wear to Father’s Day because I want to look nice and appropriate for setting, but it’s usually warm and breezy and maybe not super hot yet. I love to wear a cute dress on Father’s Day, but I know I’ll probably need a jacket or cardigan if it’s chilly and we’re eating outdoors at night. Plus, I know I’ll be running after James and Charlotte, so I also want it to be comfy enough to move in. That’s why I usually go for a pretty dress and comfortable flat or wedge sandals. If we’re doing something fancier though, I’ll sub in heels.
This year will be Andrew’s fourth Father’s Day, which is so crazy for me to say. I can’t believe how time flies. I’m going with a beachy dress (probably one of these dresses), because I will take any excuse to invest in a new dress and to get dressed up right now.
