My best friend is sweet enough to be throwing me a Sprinkle in a few weeks. I’m excited to celebrate this baby we’ve waited so long for, but like my baby shower when I had James, I’m going to be in the heavily pregnant, aka not the cute pregnant phase of pregnancy. Oh, and it’s going to be the middle of July. I know some people who like to do the shower at 6 or 7 months when they’re still in that cute phase of pregnancy so they don’t look like a whale in their photos. Which in retrospect isn’t a bad idea and comes with the bonus of having more time to shop for the stuff you don’t get. But we didn’t tell people until I was pretty far along this time, and honestly, I really don’t care what I look like. I have accepted the fact that I’ve reached the point of no return, and I’m just feeling so blessed to be having a baby and to have wonderful friends and family who want to celebrate. But I do get why the royals go on maternity leave by the time they’re at this stage. It’s not tons of fun to get dressed and have your picture taken when you’re huge. So I’ve been on the hunt for baby shower dresses and thought I’d share my faves with you.
But really, all you need to wear to your shower is a cute dress, and you’re done. Finding that cute dress though can be a challenge, especially when your bump is growing by the day. But as I shop for my own sprinkle, I’ve found quite a few adorable dresses that would be perfect to wear to your own shower or sprinkle, including this one I’m wearing that’s on super sale rn.
