What I Wore This Week (No. 65)

what I wore this week 66

I have to apologize because I’ve completely abandoned this franchise for months. Honestly, as the pandemic raged on and it was cold and snowy, I struggled to muster the energy to get dressed. I lived in leggings, an oversized sweater, and snow boots this winter tbh. Even as spring arrived, I found myself having little motivation to get dressed. But I’m feeling the pure pressure because everyone else in the world seems to be dressing again and looking put-together lately. Honestly, I am not ready for the world to open up, but it looks like I have little choice in the matter, so I’ve vowed to start getting dressed again and to bring the “What I Wore This Week” franchise back to life. And I’m kicking it off with what I wore the last week of May 2021.

I actually hate having my picture taken. As much as I love clothes, I loathe taking outfit pics for the blog. and ‘gram. But I wanted to fill this space with the content that I felt was lacking and sorely needed — inspiration for what to wear to the places and events you actually have to go to. I started this blog to help end the what to wear struggle, and I wish more bloggers and influencers would post pics of what they actually wear every day (not just the styled photos they shoot for posts) so I wanted to bring that to this blog. This here is proof of how much I love and value you guys, because if it were up to me, I’d probably just live in stretchy pants and never take another picture of myself again.

Here is what I wore the last week of May 2021 aka my week in outfits.
