What I Wore This week (No. 60)

by krismkoch

I’ve been pretty good about posting my outfits, but then last week was a doozy, and I didn’t get a second to post on here. I’m still trying to balance a full-time job and watching the kids full time, and I think the first few months I was running on adrenaline. But I’ve hit the point of total utter exhaustion and the realization that this is impossible, but there’s no end in sight. It’s hard to think about, especially knowing that school won’t likely open or open full-time in the fall, so I’m just trying not to think about it and focus on one day at a time. So instead, here’s some July 2020 outfit ideas.

I’m trying to enjoy the summer with my kids as much as I can, and get as much work done during the few hours in the mornings on the days we have a local sitter, during naps, and after they go to bed. My dark circles are scary under these sunglasses, but I am hoping no one in my Zoom calls notices because they’re so distracted by the fact that I’m dressed. I mean I love staying in my pajamas all day sometimes, but I just can’t bring myself to appear in meetings in my PJs or sweats. The good news is that it means I actually have July 2020 outfit ideas to share with you.

Now, cheers because it’s Friday. We survived another week in quarantine, and that’s worth celebrating. I can’t wait to spend some time at the pool with the kids and head up to the lake for a quick retreat. Yay for the weekend, but first, here’s what I wore this week aka my week in outfits.
