There’s nothing better than a maxi dress come summer. It’s the ultimate sundress — breezy, long, comfy, and pretty. No fuss, and you look chic, whether you’re heading to a bbq, the beach, or a casual wedding. I would say orange is not usually my color except I own a surprising number of orange pieces in my closet, so maybe I like it more than I think. I would say I don’t like it at all, but then I find myself gravitating to it. Like this dress, for example. I’m pretty pasty even in summer, but it’s a nice compliment to slightly more sun-kissed skin and feels festive and fun but not quite as sultry/try-hard as red. I also love the length of this dress. It’s just long enough that it covers my legs if it cool at night or the bugs come out and I don’t have to worry about it riding up all night or a breeze exposing too much, but it’s not so long that I have to worry about it dragging in the sand or grass. Plus, it lets me show off fun sandals. I usually go with flats, but for a dressier occasion, some fun wedges would be perfect.
