I think shopping for holiday gifts for teachers stresses me out more than any other holiday shopping. I am so grateful to James’ teachers for all that they do for him, especially this year. I can’t measure my gratitude for all they’ve done to enable him to learn safely in the classroom. So this year for the holidays, I’d like to do something special for his teachers. I’ve also been getting tons of requests for help finding cute holiday gifts for teachers, so I thought it was time to do a blog post on it.
As we all came to know all too well during the pandemic, our teachers have the hardest job in the world. There isn’t a price for what they do, and teachers are woefully underpaid, so I always recommend giving money or visa gift cards as teacher gifts, especially for the holidays. My teacher friends say visa gift cards are 100 percent the way to go. Plus, as cute notecards and mugs are (and not to knock them because I included some below), I always think that teachers must get so many each year from their students that it’s probably a lot of desk clutter, ya know? Our school has a fund that we can contribute to for the holidays that they distribute among the teachers and support staff, which I’m so grateful for, so we have the cash part taken care of. But I’d like to give James’ teachers a little something extra to say thanks. Here are my favorite holiday gifts for teachers, many of which are smaller in case you want to package them in with a gift card.
