It’s sooo good. Recently, I have been all about investing in splurge-y classics instead of fast fashion, reasoning I usually am over the trends after a season, but cashmere sweaters, a good-fitting pair of jeans, a classic navy coat, I will wear to death. However, I am realizing now that to make my wardrobe feel relevant and not completely boring, I need to mix in some trendy pieces. While I don’t want to splurge on these, I have to say that I’ve been disappointed by the assortment of pieces from my usual go-tos like Zara, Topshop, J.Crew, etc. Everything sorta of looks the same, and I returned everything I ordered because in-person, it just wasn’t that great. While Target isn’t usually my go-to for clothes (though it’s like my mecca for baby crap and TP and the like), I bought a pair of cropped black flares from Who What Wear’s first line for Target right after I had the baby, and I couldn’t love them more. I honestly live in them. I didn’t want to spend a lot at the time as I was still trying to figure out what my post-baby bod would look like and if it would ever go back down, and these jeans have been my savior. The look and quality are on par with my favorite $200-300 jeans but they were like $35 and honestly, the best $35 I’ve spent in a long time. The fit is just stretch enough without being too spandex-y and they’re flattering, which is hard for a cropped jean, as I’m discovering. Plus, they’re just high-waisted enough, if that makes sense. Anyway, enough with my ode to their cropped jeans. Bottom line is that my experience makes me more apt to purchase from their new collection, especially since I’m legit obsessed with like every piece I’m seeing, from the ruffled tops to the cold-shoulder sundresses to the snakeskin flats. You guys… it’s good! If you’re as a big of a fan of their website as I am, then that probably comes as no surprise, but you guys… seriously, shop now. You can get an entire spring/summer wardrobe for like $150 and I swear everyone will compliment you every time you wear one of the pieces, and I know this because it’s already happening to me.
Here’s what I’m scooping up from Who What Wear’s new spring collection for Target:
