As part of my commitment to be more conscious of what I buy and not just fill my already-bursting-at-the-seams closet with more stuff I don’t need, here are the only things I’m buying this month. My strategy: February is still winter but spring it on the horizon, along with all cute new spring clothes. As tempting as it is to start buying spring clothes, I’m focused on some end-of-season steals that will refresh my wardrobe and get me excited about getting dressed while it’s still cold. Here is my February 2018 shopping list.

I love these hiking boot meets snowboot that feel just urban chic enough to work on snowy gross days and weekends without the bulk of my Sorel snowboots.
I have had my eye on these Tory Burch track pants after seeing some colleagues wearing them and looking incredibly fashionable — and comfortable! I shied away from buying them because I wasn’t convinced I could style them but I’m going for it. How could I miss out on the opportunity to basically wear sweats to work and look this good?
By now you know my stripe obsession, and I feel like a turtleneck is the one version of the striped shirt I don’t actually have.
I’m excited to get in on this white shoe trend. I didn’t go for the white boots. Honestly, they just didn’t feel me, and I didn’t think I would be into them next year but I’m feeling these pumps for spring. I feel like they’ll look cool with jeans and black pants but also with cute spring skirts and dresses.
I really need a small wallet to fit in my smaller bags but that’ll fit more than my card case that I use for my work ID. I’m really feeling this adorable one.
My love affair with stripes continues. This one is fun and a little more colorful to break me out of my neutrals.
These bags are a cult favorite, and I love the look of a summery beach bag worn in the city during the non-summer months. It’s unexpected and chic and this bag will look just as cute with sundresses and cut tops in the summer.
Since I already have black, maybe I need to amp up my look with a little leopard print. It’s basically a neutral now, and these would look really cute with jeans.
I just need these, mkay?
