While I don’t consider myself a particular feminine dresser, I do have a penchant for romantic styles, lace and ruffles being two of my faves. While summertime lace is definitely happening, right now, it’s truly all about the ruffles. What I really like about the latest iteration of the trend, is it’s not overly girly or frilly. From a single ruffle paired with a one-shoulder or off-the-shoulder neckline to asymmetrical ruffles decorating a hemline, the new take on this classic feminine detail is decidedly modern and honestly, just makes me feel pretty. Don’t you love when an outfit does that?
