I know Valentine’s Day gets a bad rap as a cheesy Hallmark holiday, and I can’t say I don’t totally agree. But… after the Christmas holidays, Valentine’s Day is one of the few excuses to get festive during winter’s darkest days. I always find it hard to come up with Valentine’s Day outfit ideas. I like to look a little festive but I don’t want to look cheesy in head to toe red and pink (I also don’t own very much red or pink).
But this year, I’ve found some perfect Valentine’s Day outfit options. I’m leaning toward a dress and heels this year. We’ll be going on our first romantic date in a loooongg time, so I’m pumped to dress up a little on February 14th. Even though I think of V-day as being less for married couples, I like when there’s an excuse that forces us to plan a nice date, even if it involves a crowded restaurant that required reservations months in advance.
Whether you’re going casual or planning something a little more special, if you’re looking for help getting dressed, here are some Valentine Day’s outfit ideas.
