Spring, are you there yet? Because it sure doesn’t feel like it! It’s been a chilly start to spring on the East Coast to say the least. It feels weird to whip out Easter egg pastels when it’s not even 30 degrees outside, and as much as I love fashion, I am too damn old (and pale) to brave no tights or sandals until it hits at least 60 degrees. But I’m trying to incorporate at least some subtle nods to spring while I wait for the weather to get warm enough to whip out these pasty legs and unpedicured toes.
This dress was the perfect answer and the under $200 price really can’t be beat. I love the pretty florals contrasted with the black backdrop, and the ruffle sleeve detail. It may seem a little dark for summer, but it’ll look super cute with sandals for work or a night out.
Since it was about 30 degrees, I paired this floral number with my fave faux fur leopard print coat. Florals and leopard print is one of my favorite combos, so it made me feel slightly less depressed about the wind chill.
