I used to be obsessed with Tory Burch — the boho/prep aesthetic perfectly encapsulated the two sides of my style personality. But then I got more New York-ified and sleek neutrals became my staples. Frankly, a wardrobe made up of mostly black, white, navy and grey makes getting dressed much easier because I have enough of a struggle getting out of the house in the morning, but still looks chic enough to compete in the stylish magazine/fashion world. But recently, I’ve been feeling myself gravitating toward airy summer dresses. Maybe it’s not being pregnant anymore. Maybe I’m out of my dark phase. Maybe it’s the maybe someday soonish house-hunting we’ve been doing, but I’m really feeling colorful, ruffle-y, breezy sundresses right now, and finding most of the ones I’m seeing are from my old friend Tory Burch. So maybe it’s really a return to my boho-preppy roots or maybe I’m testing out a suburban mom or possible West Coast persona. I could of course continue to analyze my new affinity for every dress Tory Burch has put out this summer, or I could just show you what I’m loving right now, most of which is on sale (yay for July sales) so you can order, throw on and look chic all the way until September.
