If you’ve been wondering why I’ve been a little MIA lately, I have a confession: I was seriously struggling and didn’t know what to do or where to turn and if you know me, you will understand how devastating and shocking it was: I didn’t want to shop. Or get dressed for that matter but that’s not that shocking. Truth be told, I love me some sweatpants and a cozy sweater or tee. But I never don’t want to shop. But this never ending winter really took all the inspiration out of me. It wasn’t for lack of trying. I just wasn’t inspired by any boots, sweaters or dresses even I was seeing. A few splurge-y pieces caught my eye but not enough to go all in and as much as my wardrobe has needed a refresh and I’m addicted to online shopping, I completely lost my mojo. I even tried shopping in person, in actual stores for a change. I didn’t even really want to shoo for James or for our apartment or the future home I’m dreaming of. Nope. It got so bad that I actually stopped looking. Like no interest in browsing (my favorite relax before I fall asleep activity). And it really started to impact my overall mojo because I didn’t want to get dressed, didn’t want to do anything, didn’t want to blog because had nothing cute to share with you, and I even blame it on the lbs I packed on due to my apathy. But I’m happy to report that I’ve finally begun to dig myself out of this funk because the first signs of spring are here (even if it feels like winter still) and the new spring clothes popping up are getting me excited about shopping again. So after a brief hiatus, I’m back with a long list of everything I want this spring… so far. Here is my April 2018 shopping list.
From top left:
Plaid Skirt, Also love the matching top.
White Heels. Also love these.
Also like these and these and these. Also love these that look like The Row ones.
Striped Turtleneck. Also love this one.
Lavender Puff Sleeve Sweater. Cheaper version here.
Worth the splurge:

II totally feel you on this one – I don’t know if it was just a function of what was being merchandised, or if pre-spring offerings were so lame, but it’s only this week I’m starting to see some things that are inspiring! I feel like with global warming and nutso weather, retailers should start to give us the drops that are happening right now late March more towards the end of February – I was so ready to shop for something other than sweaters, and there.was.nothing except hyper beachy resort stuff.
*love* these round ups – please keep them up! Also would love your guidance on comfy dressing – you love those TB track pants, and I’m desperate for some easy don’t-want-to-get-dressed-cute-and-flattering lounge-y type looks!

ugh totally agreed. thanks for sharing and the feedback! It’s so helpful and appreciated. I can definitely do a guide on comfy dressing and lounge looks. I tend to change into sweats the second I get home ad I have actually been thinking lately that I really need to find some cute looks that are comfy for home but that aren’t my tattered college sweatpants and old hoodies. I’ll do a roundup soon!
