I can’t believe that summer is almost here. It’s still really chilly here and Memorial Day feels like a million years away, but it’s actually not at all. In fact, it’s just over a month and a half until the official kickoff to summer (in my mind at least). But first, we are heading out on spring break. My kids have of course had their spring growth spurts just in time for our trip to Florida, so their swimsuits from last year aren’t fitting, so I’m shopping for toddler swimsuits already. I figure we’ll need swimsuits for summer and camp and all of that anyway, so might as well get everyone theirs now. While I typically prefer to wait until kids clothes go on sale so I can get them quality items for less and not cry when they ruin or lose them, swimsuits always seem to sell out fast, so I usually nab them right when the spring/summer inventory drops even if it feels a bit early. (It’s hard to imagine when it’s still 40 degrees in April that we’ll be swimming outside in a little over a month.)
Even though it’s only April, I already found tons of cute toddler swimsuits for Charlotte and Brooks and I guess James is no longer a toddler, but I found some great little boy swimsuits and rash guards as well. I’m actually getting really excited for Florida because the kids are going to look so cute hanging by the pool all day! I’ve already ordered a bunch of swimsuits I’ve found, and they’re even cuter in person. I am debating if Charlotte and I need matching mommy and me swimsuits, or if we need matching bathing suits for the whole family. I love putting the kids in matching suits, but it’s getting harder as James gets bigger and has outgrown the toddler sizing. But I don’t think I’ll let that stop me. Anyway, here are the cutest toddler swimsuits (and little kid swimwear). Here’s hoping that they’ll get good use this summer — and it warms up soon!
