If it feels like fashion week, that’s because it kind of is. Just the toned down, less fancy, more fun version that is known as the pre-fall and resort collections. And while pre-fall/resort etc. are a bit of bullshit tbh, they ensure we don’t go too long without a major dose of top-tier street style inspo, which is badly needed at this point between fashion weeks. And since these between-seasons presentations are still relatively new, though becoming bigger fast, they actually have a more exclusive vibe than regular old fashion week, bringing out the creme de la creme of the fashion elite and summer style to boot.
